     Today is my second day in chinese island, if you haven't read yesterday's blog you should check it out to understand today's blog and it is as exciting as today's blog gonna be. Today I woke up at 6.30 AM in the morning because my dad was playing the guitar with the wrong tune purposely and woke every one up even me, that slept at 4 AM in the morning. Then several minutes later everybody get up from their bed and then... not shower but brush our teeth. After  that I grab my jacket and wear 'em because , we are going outside and walk around the neighbourhood and we walk through a tradisional market and decided to buy some food there and eat. I ate plain prata with curry sauce not gonna lie the prata was so good, and I drank hot chocolate. At the end all of us ordered prata. after the breakfast we went for morning walk even though the path is scary cause you might fall down here is the picture of the path


And then my aunt shows us our great grandma's, grandma, her siblings, and her cousin house, basically my grandma's family houses. My dad told me when my grandma was still a child, more than 100 person! isn't that crazy. But we didn't stay there, instead we stay in my grandma's and her others sibling new house that had already been renovated. After that walk we decided to go back to the traditional market and bought jello in eggshell. Then we went back home to my grandma's. At home we got ready and packed cause we are going back to Tanjung Pinang. 

After a boat ride we went to a Padang restaurant and then went back home. Thank you for reading my blog.

    Saturday, 1 April 2017 Today is saturday, and today is the day I go Tanjung Pinang and Senggarang, which are my parents and my grandparents hometown . I'll go with my dad and my sister , the night before we packed everything we need. In the morning I woke up at 8 AM andwent into the shower right away. I ate pancakes for breakfast then we head to the ferry terminal. We went i to the ferry and it took an hour to go to Tanjung pinang. An hour later we finally arrived. There we went to our great grandma's house. At 12 PM  we went to the mall and we went to the grocery store and bought some snacks. We went to Maxx Coffee and ordered some drinks here's the picture A while later we went to Tomo Japanese Resturant to have "lunch''. We ordered some sushi, matcha ice cream, ice cream sandwich, patbingsoo, and other side dishes. After lunch we picked up our cousins from church.     Exhausting Journey to China     Friday, 13 December 2019   My dad and I went to China for a week to visit my sister, who is studying there at the time. She is still learning the language, she hopes to pursue her higher education there. Well that was the original plan before this whole pandemic thing, as I'm writing this the world is still staying at home.. isolating, except maybe for New Zealand which is almost free from Covid-19. Back to my journey, I need to get to Singapore for a layover. As I arrived at Batam ferry station my dad went to take our ticket, while I went to grab starbucks coffee for us. Two macchiatos.
