Exhausting Journey to China Friday, 13 December 2019 My dad and I went to China for a week to visit my sister, who is studying there at the time. She is still learning the language, she hopes to pursue her higher education there. Well that was the original plan before this whole pandemic thing, as I'm writing this the world is still staying at home.. isolating, except maybe for New Zealand which is almost free from Covid-19. Back to my journey, I need to get to Singapore for a layover. As I arrived at Batam ferry station my dad went to take our ticket, while I went to grab starbucks coffee for us. Two macchiatos. I grab a venti for myself and a grande for dad. After waiting for a while, we were finally called to the depature dock.
